Believe or not to believe

Religion is sometimes taken as a way of escapism. But that real meaning of religion lies in the belief of oneself. Some say God created the world, while others adamantly proclaim that the world was born from a huge star exploding, well its how we look at it that counts. Well the evolution of man is well recorded, but God creating man from dust again is all upon ones belief. You choose to believe or not!
  God ever since the beginning of time itself, has played a major role in many of life activities or was it just the nature conspiring its ploy to deploy a devious method to invoke action among the inhabitants of this planet 3. Again, its upon ones belief. You are the one who chooses to believe in it.
  Coming to religion, i see it as a path to attain enlightenment or meet the creator or provider as we call him. Religion gives us many paths to that one God who looks over us. The rituals imbibed in such a religion are transferred down from the older generations to the younger ones. The younger ones can either take note or choose to ignore these rituals. I for one take part in these rituals as the make a sense of belonging of attachment to oneself and a general goal for humanity to strive for. While a pessimist or atheist will just disregard  such a theory and will disown the very existence of GOD and start a war with the provider. This is the decision they have taken earlier - Believe or not to believe. 
  Again such a decision can only come from within and from oneself. This reaction or decision is one way of expressing oneself about his/ her lifestyle and if one sees the world on a spiritual or metaphysical level or see it though the eyes of science. These two factors conflict in ones mind as both fields provide their escapism and reprieve.
 Thus the onus is one oneself - TO BELIEVE or NOT TO BELIEVE . Hard for the ones who are looking for an answer in life, harder for the conflicting minds and easy for the ones who choose to ignore.!
